Hey, I'm Avery.
I'm a photographer based in Fort Smith, Arkansas, and if there's an airplane nearby, there's a good chance I already know about it.
I got my first camera in 2017 and spent years photographing wildlife and landscapes. After taking some time away from photography, I came back to it in 2025. It wasn't long before aviation completely took over.
I started with photographing aircraft from outside the fence. Since then I've been fortunate to get up-close to flight lines, military aircraft, pilots and crews, and a whole community of people who have trusted me to document what they do. My favorite photos are often the pre-flight check, the helmet going on, or the tiny moments happening while everyone else is watching the airplane.
Aviation will probably always be my favorite thing to photograph, but I don't like to put myself in one box. If something makes me think, "That would look killer in a photo." I'm interested.
Photography has become one of the biggest parts of my life, and I'm still finding new things to point a camera at.
Avery & Tyler
If you see me at the airport, there's a good chance my husband, Tyler, isn't too far behind. It's only natural that he caught the aviation bug too.
While I'm grabbing the stills, he's somewhere nearby capturing the same moments on video.

Our airport dates have turned into a full-scale production.
We each have our own style and our own work, but getting to create alongside each other has become one of my favorite parts of all this.
